5. Sportsbook General Rules

5.1. Each user determines his stakes himself with the exception of the restriction imposed by winning limits in accordance with the calculation of winnings and possible stake limits. A precondition for the effective placement of a bet is that before the closure for the acceptance of bets there must be sufficient balance on the account to cover the stake. If the balance on the account does not provide full coverage and the difference is not remitted in due time, offers for the placement of bets will be accepted by the company only in the order in which they are received for as long as the betting account for each individual bet is completely covered. If the stake for a bet is only partly covered by the balance on the account, the bet is deemed to be placed with a stake corresponding to the remaining balance on the account.

5.2. A bet is accepted once the company has confirmed it. A bet is confirmed when it appears in the customer’s account. In some isolated cases delays may occur. In the event of a dispute over the time when a bet was placed, the time when the bet was registered by the company shall govern.

5.3. If a bet is declared “invalid” or “void” (e.g. cancellation of the betting event), then this bet will be evaluated as “won” with odds of 1.00. For individual (single) bets, this means that the user will get the amount equal to his stake back. In a multi bet, this means that the total odds will be adjusted accordingly and the multi bet can still be won if all other bets it contains are won too. In case of technical difficulties to void a bet then, company reserves the right to deduct the invalid winnings from clients balance.

5.4. If the bet is placed after the beginning of the betting event, the bet is invalid (this does not include live betting). The bet will be evaluated as “won” using the odds 1.00. For “Live Betting”, bets which are received by the company after the result of the respective bet has been determined are invalid and will be evaluated as “won” using odds of 1.00.

5.5. The company reserves the right to decline acceptance of any bet without giving a reason. If, during the period of acceptance of bets, information becomes known through which the outcome of the bet can be determined, the deadline for acceptance of bets will be determined anew by the company or the bet will be cancelled. Cancelled bets are evaluated as “won” at odds of 1.00.

5.6. Betcos assumes no responsibility for typing, transmission and/or evaluation errors. In particular, the company reserves its right to correct any pice errors - even after the event - with the input of betting odds and/or the evaluation of betting results (e.g. odds-related, team-related, event-related errors) or declare affected bets void. Betcos also assumes no liability for correctness, completeness or up-to-datedness of the information services provided, for example live scores and result messages sent via e-mail. The stake is exclusively the amount confirmed and recorded by the company. In case the erroneous event/market is cancelled all bets are void and will be evaluated as “won” with odds of 1,00.

5.7. Winnings are only paid out up to a maximum of the winning limits. If the player places a bet whose payment exceeds the winning limit, Betcos is not liable for the excess amount. In this case payments of winnings will be reduced correspondingly. This applies also if Betcos has not warned the bettor against possible excesses of the winning limits at the time of betting. The winning limits for bets with real money are Per Player and Week EUR 15,000 or equivalent. Betcos reserves the right to determine winning limits different from those specified above and/or determine specific winning limits for individual players.5.8. Unless otherwise stated – in the exceptions below, in the betting offer or in the special rules of each sport – the principle “all bets stand” applies to all bets. This means, that if the athlete (or team, etc.), on whom/which the bet has been placed, fails to participate – for whatever reason – the bet is lost if the betting event takes place. Only in exceptional cases will bet be declared void, particularly in the following cases:- The event/tournament is cancelled or declared void.- The event/tournament is interrupted and restarted in more than 36 hours after the original start date- Head to Head (H2H) bets: If one or more participants withdraw before they have started the event/tournament.5.9. Betcos recognizes only those results which have been achieved on the playing field or platform. Results amounting from disciplinary measures from a sports' court or another court of law are not considered. In case of violation of sports laws, the company reserves the right to freeze the winnings and withhold payment.

5.10. The customer may not combine related bets on the same event. Related bets are two or more different bets that have related contingency.

5.11. Live bets are offered exclusively before and during an event on a dedicated live bets platform. The odds are continuously updated to reflect the current status of the game. If, for any reason, Betcos offer prices during Live betting that is a product of operation mistake (for any reason), Betcos reserves the right to alter the price, even after the game finished.

5.12. In order to avoid a bet not being accepted due to changes in odds, the system automatically updates the odds before slip confirmation and the customer should check the latest odds in betting slip before the confirmation.

5.13. For live bets the results that are known immediately after the conclusion of a betting market will be the ones used to evaluate the winning outcome(s). Subsequent modifications (e.g. results decided by a jury after the game) do not influence settlement of the live bet on offer.

5.14. Live bets are settled on the company’s own statistics which are based on the actual run of play. Unless otherwise stated, in live betting all bets on “Non-runners” will be void.

5.15 Sportsbook stake unit 1 €. Minimum stake 1€.

Ideantical bets are accepted and valid as far as their aggregate total stake is even to the maximum stake accepted by the company of the relevant event/events, all slips with stake exceeding the maximum stake accepted can be void at Betcos.com's own descretion even after the conclusion of the event. 7. Sports Rules

7.1. Miscelaneous

7.1.1. Change of venue. For any team sport: if the scheduled venue is changed after the market is loaded, or a team has not used its normal home venue, the company has the right to void all bets. Also, all bets will be void only if the new venue is a home ground of the original away team.  For all categories or markets other than team sports: if the scheduled venue is changed after the market is loaded, all bets will stand. If there is a change in the type of scheduled surface after the market has been loaded, all bets will stand.

7.1.2. Dead heat. For each bet matched on a relevant winning selection, the stake money is first reduced in proportion by multiplying it by the sum of the number of winners, divided by the number of actual winners (i.e. stake multiplied by (number of winners expected/number of actual winners)). The winnings are then paid to the successful backers on this 'reduced stake' (reduced stake multiplied by traded price). For example, assume there is a dead heat for first place between three horses. 'Client A' has backed one of the winners for a stake of 300 at the traded price of 4.0. When the event is settled, the stake (300) is multiplied by 1/3 (i.e. the number of expected winners (1) divided by the number of actual winners (3)) to calculate the reduced stake (100). The backer then receives the traded price matched (4.0) multiplied by the reduced stake (4 x 100 = 400). In this example, Client A's net winnings are 100 (400 payout minus the original 300 stake).

7.1.3. Suspected Irregularities. Betcos may withhold payments until a full investigation from the relevant governing body/independent authority has taken place when a game or sporting event contains any suspected irregularities.

7.1.4. Human error / System problems. If a bet is accepted at a price that is materially different from those available in the general market at the time the bet was made or clearly incorrect given the chance of the event occurring then Betcos will void all these bets.

7.1.5. Multiples. A multiple bet consists of a number of different chosen selections in any individual event market. Betcos reserves the right not to accept certain multiple bets. If a multiple contains a selection that is being voided the odds for this selection will be set to 1, i.e. if the multiple contains the selections over2.5 goals in game A (odds=2)* home in game B (odds=1.5) and game B is being voided the odds for this multiple will be 2 * 1 = 2.

7.1.6. Outrights / Ante Post. When placing “Outright” bets no stakes will be refunded on participants that are not participating or withdrawing from an event. In case of more winners the dead heat rule will be applied. If the event or tournament is not completed within 24 hours after the scheduled completion date all bets will be void.

7.1.7. Postponed / Abandoned matches. If a match does not start on the scheduled starting date or starts but is later abandoned and is not completed within 24 hours of the scheduled completion date, all bets will be void.

7.1.8. Settled outcomes. There are five different settled outcomes being used: Win, Lose, Tie, Half win and Half lose. Half win and Half lose refers to Asian handicap or Over/Under where the line includes a quarter (0.25, 0.75, 1.25 etc.). I.e. if a bet is placed on over 2.25, half of the stake is placed on over 2 and half of the stake is placed on over 2.5. If the game ends with exactly two goals (1-1, 2-0 or 0-2) the bet placed on over 2 is settled tie and the bet placed on over 2.5 is settled lose. This is called Half lose. If the game ends with more than two goals the bet is settled win or if it ends with less than two goals the bet is settled lose. I.e. if a bet is placed on over 2.75, half of the stake is placed on over 2.5 and half of the stake is placed on over 3. If the game ends with exactly three goals (2-1, 3-0, 1-2 or 0-3) the bet placed on over 2.5 is settled as win and the bet placed on over 3 is settled tie. This is called Half win. If the game ends with more than three goals the bet is settled win or if it ends with less than three goals the bet is settled lose.
